Deacon 79 as a carver ski for PNW?
Post Body
- height: 6' / 183 cm
- weight: 168 lbs / 76 kg
- home mountain: Snoqualmie, occasionally visiting other WA and BC mountains
- level: intermediate (blues and non-mogul blacks)
- quiver: 176cm QST 92
I love my current skis, but was wondering if I should get something different for what I ski 90% of the time: carving frontside groomers all day long at avg 20 mph (max: 35 mph), babysitting my kids on greens and blues
I'm looking for something that I can use on hardpack/ice days and to handle chop/crud better, and more stability at speed.
Would a skinnier carving ski work better, or should I practice more with my current skis?
