Sketchup looks great on my friends apple, quick and intuitive to use. On my pc its clunky and just terrible. I cant even rotate an object without it being a big hassle. When I want to dry a line of a specific length I have to pull the line back and forth until it reads the correct info (on the apple it looks like you just type it in?). Also wanted to send a .skp file but looks like I could only use a png or stl file? I'm using the trial period for the 2020 version (web based). Any ideas what the rub is? I'm just making a 2D model (floor plan) and found it a frustrating experience. Is there a better version that I should be using? Why is my experience with sketchup so terrible? Any guidance/help appreciated!
