He is around member of Ixtal and believes that Ixtal should be isolated to be safe. That’s verbatim what is said about Skarner in yesterday’s video for what’s to come. To me I think the beginning part of it is good, having him as a founding member is cool but it kinda feels like we are just getting arcane heimerdinger or even volibear again.

For instance, in Arcane, Heimerdinger is a founding member of piltover and does like magic because of what he’s seen in the past. Volibear is a founder of the Frejord and believes that it should stay how it was before, that being hunting and killing and fighting.

It all kinda feels like it’s treading the same or similar path. Something about it rubs me the wrong way I guess. I’m not sure. Maybe I’m still attached to him being connected to hextech but still feel like they could have kept the connection and figured out a way to make it work. Like the crystal is part of his tail which allows him to grab and take a bunch of people. Idk

On a different side note, I kinda wished they gave him more tattoos or bracelets or just jewelry in general. It feels like they kinda started on it either way what we have currently but didn’t add any more. I’m not feeling the civilized ancient creature that taught people earth magic yet. I’m glad they brightened him up since the last time we saw him but I would like to see more of his culture on his person, how he decorates, and dresses himself up.
