Post Body

Through OCs and personal writing, I like to imagine up many modes for a giant to magically grow or simply be big without using cliche ways like serums, science rays or angery.

However, there's one that keeps ping-ponging uncomfortably in my mind, demanding to be developed more, even though it seems like it's enough of a contrivance for the plot.

Skipping some details, this character is, by default, rather massive. Some might say "giga". Yet, she can shrink herself down to mini-giantess size by meditating. So as long as she keeps her mind still or focused, she can be of size to interact with regular infrastructure, and anything in between, barring the degree of discipline she has. However, if she gets distracted, flustered or sleeps, she returns to mega and giga sizes, with her own valley as a resting place, like a cot wrought from stone and padded with pine trees.

Understandably, she stays away from major population areas, and I'm sure plenty would be more than nervous to see her at smaller sizes, humming as she walks down the street, desperately trying to not interact with her.

There's something about the ability that feels off in my mind, and so talking about it here I'm hoping to somehow sift some unseen ideas that might lay subconsciously in me.
