So, for context, I am 52 and lucky enough to have the seen the original airings, and through the years have said "one day I'll watch it all again" yet never did until......Netflix! And thank God. I'm absolutely loving it. It's as if I never watched, because so many years and events have transpired in between, and the show is gripping, funny, arcane, deep, powerful, etc.
Anyway, in finalizing seasons 1-2, I could not stop noticing the "dogs barking in the background" phenomemon. It's as if the crew may have done it as an inside joke? There must be 8-10 times that this happens, with a classic example being the man who expires as he takes out the trash in S2E10 "The Secret." Watch around the 2:25 mark just before the fade to white.
I realize it's a silly thing to post about, but hope someone else picked up on it. Once you hear it, you'll never be able to un-hear it. 😅
