When did Robyn really become part of the family?

So I'm a relatively new viewer - me and my bf have been binging the past few weeks are now on S11. When the show started, they made it look like Kody had just started courting Robyn and it was all new. But: TLC likes to show a picture of all 4 wives together in the snow and Meri has very long hair in that photo; the other wives also look a bit different as well. When the show started, Meri's hair was it's normal shoulder length. Did Robyn actually become a part of the family earlier, but TLC wanted to be as dramatic as possible (as per usual)?
