Nah he's so full of shit. He hasn't given a single fuck about Meri for over a decade. He is weaponizing the term, he doesn't actually feel like it's "not safe" to love Meri. He's such a textbook narcissist it's almost funny to watch at this point. It would be funnier if there weren't so many innocent people being hurt by his disgusting behavior.
And Robyn. Oh Robyn, the codependent damsel in distress. She just has to fake cry and Kody runs to her. Inserting herself into their marriages where she has zero business being.

Yea agreed I think he knows she's fed up and completely done. He knows she's going to start speaking out about their relationship and he's setting the stage for his defense.
He's weaponizing the term "not feeling safe" to love her. He doesn't actually feel that way. He doesn't care about her, only cares about his image.
He only likes people who feed his ego and make him look good. Only Robyn is left at this point and even she is starting to throw him under the bus. Everyone else is done with him and he's scrambling.
