On S18EP5, and I cannot deal with this “the phone goes both ways” bullshit. Meri being hurt and sad that Ysabel didn’t beg to see her when she was at Kody’s Christmas clearance sale or whatever. Why do all these grown adults at their big age put the entire onus of a relationship on 17/18 year olds? Like yes they’re technically adults but cmon. They’re still figuring their shit out and their frontal lobes aren’t fully developed. Plus they are still the child in the dynamic!! Specifically with Ysabel, wouldn’t she have assumed that Meri knew she was at Robyn’s? Since they’re so “close”? Why did Robyn never casually mention, “hey these kids are here for second Christmas on this day” until after the fact?

I don’t know how these ppl can say “the phone goes both ways” completely without irony and not cringe at themselves. You are the parent, you’re modeling the behavior, even into adulthood. Fuckass excuses.
