This is one of my favorite movies, recommend checking it out if you haven’t seen it. I often refer to it as a romantic comedy for guys. Here’s the summary. Spoilers, so if you’re gonna actually watch it and want to be surprised, scroll past this part In parentheses …..

(((This kind of dorky regular dude meets the woman of his dreams through a really chance incident. He ends up getting a date with her and starting a relationship, but he spends most of the movie second guessing himself and trying to figure out why she’s interested in him when she could be with pretty much any guy she wanted. Some stuff happens annnddddddd…….Of course the movie has a happy ending, and she ends up helping him to see himself in a more positive way. The guy gets the girl, and everyone lives happily ever after.)))

I think this is a fantasy that alot of guys have. They feel like on the surface, they might not seem like the coolest or most charming guy around. They’re just regular dudes. But they have a lot going on just below the surface, and if they got the chance, just maybe they could make it with their dream girl.

So as you might have guessed, that’s why I’m here making this post. I feel like I’m just a regular guy, but that I have a lot to share with someone. I’m not necessarily always the coolest, smoothest, or best looking guy around, but if I’m being honest, I feel like maybe I’m a little better off than I give myself credit for sometimes.

Maybe I am looking for someone who’s a little “out of my league”. But I’d much rather set my sights high and be the guy who gets the girl, instead of just counting myself out.
