I'm 36 and have one daughter who is 12. Before I had her (and while I was with her father), I had no problem with dating and relationships. After my daughters father left (she was a baby, so about 12 years ago), I told myself I wouldn't put up with anything that didn't make me happy. Since then, the longest relationship I've had has been ~8 months. After a while I just get tired of dealing with it - telling him where I'm going, what I'm doing, making excuses to do things without him, etc. I'm not sure if it's my ADHD (for which I'm diagnosed) or I just get lazy or if I'm just that independent.

Anyone else have this problem?
