Is it me or is it hard to date as a single father?

[29m] I haven't been on the dating scene in over 4 years. I wanted to get myself situated and get myself together before I got involved with anyone. Now that I do it seems that people are not interested in dating someone with a kid. I keep thinking I'm doomed like the incredible hulk destined to roam the world alone.
