How do you fight the loneliness when you're not ready for a relationship?

My marriage and divorce were nasty. It's been almost 4 years but I'm really not ready for a relationship. I have a hard time making friends because I don't like... Public stuff. I prefer small tight-knit groups. Intimate relationships. The loneliness is killing me. The need for male companionship is killing me. How do you do it? I was okay the first couple years but now I just can't take it.
