I (24) have been planning for a very long time to be a SMBC and was planning to purchase sperm next month if not the following month. I have all of the important things planned out (blah blah blah) and I am looking into ICI and at home insemination. I realized that the cryobank that I wanted to go through requires a physician to sign if I want to do at home insemination. The issue with this is that I don’t have a consistent physician due to lots of insurance changes and stuff so I’m wondering if anyone knows if it has to be a long term physician or if there’s any cryobanks that don’t need a physician’s permission for at home insemination.
I’m not saying a ton of details because I like to be short and to the point but I have been planning everything as best I can for so long and have a community behind me but the only thing standing in my way now is this physician’s permission thing.
It makes sense why they require it but it’s also something that I guess I don’t know much about.
Edit: I do have great insurance, not issues with it. I think I worded it wrong up there. It’s just that it’s changed a lot that it’s inconsistent.
Also please don’t comment on my age or say to wait because I’ve been ready for a while but am finally getting the ball rolling
