Newly Single Father of a 3y.o. daughter
Post Body

I've just broken it off with the mother of my daughter. We were together for 5 years and it was a roller coaster to say the least. We will be sharing custody with her keeping our daughter during the day while I work (7am to 4pm) and I will have her evenings and nights. We will be switching weekends. We are trying to keep it civil and out of the courts for the foreseeable future. I've got a great job and I for sure make enough to continue supporting myself and my daughter with no real lifestyle changes other than the split custody.

Our son died last August and we tried to work on our relationship but it just fell apart. I'm kind of at a loss right now and very slightly overwhelmed as I'm sure you guys can imagine. I guess I'm just reaching out and hoping to get some insight into some of your experiences and also some support/resources maybe?

Thanks for reading, anyone.
