I haven't played the previous versions of this game, but I have played sim city in the past. I've been watching some videos about the differences between Sims 3 and Sims 4. It seems like keeping some of the features they already had would make Sims 4 an excellent game; for instance placing lots freely and keeping the "open world" aspect. What was the trade off for losing those features? I'm not complaining about Sims 4 as I am fully addicted now, but these features sound like they would exponentially make this game better.
