Hey everybody.
I reinstalled the Sims 3 a few days ago, and it worked fine for the first two hours or so. Then, the next day, all textures were suddenly set to their lowest resolutions, even though texture and sim quality were set to the maximum.
I have since tried everything to return the quality to normal, without success. Obviously, I've reinstalled the game multiple times; I've run it with and without CC; I've messed around with and disabled my GPU software (Radeon); I've done the standard stuff of adjusting the graphic rules and vide card config files to work well with my machine; I've deleted all caches and everything in My Documents; I've tried both the Steam and Origin/EA App versions of TS3; I've tried running the game with and without EPs; I've messed with the registry; I've made sure I wasn't capped out on RAM, disk usage or graphical memory - and more. I've done everything I could think of (and even some things I couldn't think of), and I just cannot get the texture quality back to normal.
I'm running Windows 10, 64 bit. If any of you beautiful simmers has had this issue, too, and has managed to resolve it; I'd love to hear what you did to fix it. Thanks in advance!
