Car on the right should have been paying more attention to the fact that you were right next to him. With how he turned into you, I highly doubt he even knew you were there, which is entirely his fault. And from your POV, it does look like you attempt to turn into the corner, but him making contact with you prevented you from turning.
When racing with other people you don't have the privilege of having the perfect racing line 100% of the time. You need to be able to adapt and give space to others to avoid wrecking.
