I have a 2010 silverado and I have questions

I was driving down the road and everything was just fine all of a sudden I start to lose power and then when I stopped and started going again it would be just fine and then start to lose power again . I had enough fuel .and when I lost power could not get over 20mph with it floored what can cause this and how do I fix it on a budget
