Hi all. Quick question about the TV show. Why did Holston clean the camera in episode 1? He knew with 1000% certainty that cleaning the camera would not reveal what he was seeing. He had seen numerous other people clean the camera. He had watched his wife clean the camera. And never did it show a living, green landscape. He could not possibly think that cleaning the camera would be effective. So why do it? I'm about halfway through episode 2 but it's broken my suspension of disbelief and am struggling to stay engaged.
