Hey guys,

Some of you may have seen my last guide on how to get the ST fix from LegendPoet (Github) to work when ST says "invalid or expired token". I'm glad I was able to help some people with that, but as the guide and method were quite hard to understand with all those different websites, I'm now making a new step-by-step guide with an easier method (without the SMS site).

1. Get the main branch of SillyTavern-fix either by pulling it from github or what I like to do is: click the green button that says "Code", download the ZIP and extract the folder (the folder name should be "SillyTavern-fix-main". Important: When you run ST from this folder, the version should say 1.10.9. If it says something else, it's the wrong version and my guide most likely won't work...
2. I don't know if this step is really necessary, but better safe than sorry: Go on poe.com and if you are logged in with your already existing poe account, click on the button between the "reload website button" and the "poe.com" line and delete your existing poe cookie. Then reload the page and you should be logged out automatically. (check screenshot below)
3. Go to proton.me and create a free mail adress. The advantage of proton is that you can skip the whole phone number part. So create your proton mail, paste the mail on the poe website, get a verification code to your proton mail, paste it in poe and voila, you have created your new poe account/cookie without the need to verify it with a phone number.
4. Now as you should know from the good old poe days, press F12, copy the p-b cookie, paste in SillyTavern and you should automatically connect to the "GPTforST" bot, which is uncensored.

I've tested this method 3 times in a row now and all 3 cookies worked without ST saying "invalid or expired token". If it doesn't work for you, you most likely messed up a step. If you have a problem and tell me which step you are stuck at, I will try to help but this time I won't bother answering comments that just say "won't work for me".
