I'm running silly tavern and extras on a pc at home - over the wifi i can connect to it from my android phone - but will any of the the speech recognition options work this way. I don't want to use the android built in recognition that's on the keyboard - it's just kind ruins the interactivity - is one of the other stt options an option on an android phone? like the streaming stt would be really cool. these all work on my pc but not from a browser on the android phone - any suggestions?
The conversational mode of openai on their app is fantastic - great human like voices and good continuous speech recogition. Really would be great to use Silly tavern like that if it could be so fast...
with so many options on the speech to text and the text to speech - just trying to make it as close to having a conversation as possible - not sure what the best mix is - running the speech generation on my own nvidia 3080 and local speech recognition engine - or if my net connection is fast enough can you get good enough results letting the speech be generated by openai and openai speech recognition as well?
thanks for any tips - i've tried all kinds of different options - but there's always the lag or delay in some way so the converstation never flows fast like it does with the openai chatgpt app alone on the phone.
