A Hindutva friend of mine posted this, so, I came here for clarification. Asking in good faith as my understanding of Sikhi is limited to real-life experiences with Sikh friends and Gurudwara trips and not with the literature.

Many of the Sikh festivals like Hola Mohalla, Vaishakhi, and Bandi chor Diwas are celebrated alongside Holi, Vaishaki, and Deepawali, respectively. If Sikhi is distinct from Islam and Hinduism and took elements from both then why don't Sikh celebrates any festival alongside the Islamic ones?
