I grew up surrounded by the Indian diaspora and specifically a lot of people from the Punjab so plenty of Sikhs. But I'm not part of that community. I maintain a general interest in Sikhi, definitely my favourite strand of monotheism.
Anyway I thought this sub was appreciate the main point of this post. My daughter (8) is in UK primary school so they learn about the major world faiths. She was sat at the dinner table the other night and came out with "If I could pick any of the religions we'd learned about I'd be a Sikh". So today we're off to the library to find some books. I'd take her to see a Gurdwara but the nearest one is over 2 hours away sadly.
