So, I know I'm a bit late for this, as the Barbie movie came out a while ago, but this revelation has just strucked me.
If you think about it, Barbieland is a place made of the collective imagination of millions of girls from all over Terra. In the movie, it's also shown that shifts in the perception of certain Barbies can affect Barbieland. Conversely, the Barbies and Kens can manifest in the real world like Warp Demons do.
So, what do you think? Is Barbieland an early, more peaceful version of the Warp? Keep in mind this movie is set in the 21st century, so it's only natural the Warp is a less convulse place than in the 40th millennium.
