I wanted to share something I've learned recently about embracing my blindness, especially in everyday tasks like cooking in the kitchen.
I used to try to rely on my limited vision to do things, but I found that it often led to accidents and injuries cuts, burns, you name it. So, I decided to try something different.
Now, when I'm in the kitchen, I approach tasks as if I have no vision at all. I rely on my other senses to guide me, and it's made a huge difference. I have fewer accidents and feel more confident in what I'm doing.
It's been a real eye-opener for me, and it's taught me that sometimes, letting go of our reliance on limited and unreliable vision can actually make things easier and safer.
