Like many I became a first time gun owner at the very beginning of the Pandemic. I’ve since fallen in love with the culture and purchased several more guns since.
Anyhow, after my first purchase of a Sig P365XL I decided I would research and purchase a holster for my new sidearm. I came across a TON of Facebook and Instagram adds for this company ‘We the People’ found a suitable IWB holster and ordered it. Almost 2 full months goes by without a single word or update from them even with multiple attempts to contact. So I call my bank and dispute the charge and purchase another holster locally.
By some sort of magic, 3 days later the WTP holster shows up delivered at my house. I obviously don’t need or want this thing anymore. So I reach out to their CS again for a return/refund. After about a week they tell me I need to either pay for return shipping or send the package RTS if unopened. It was, so I sent it back RTS easy peasy.
While waiting for the package to make its way back I get the idea to maybe exchange it instead of a full refund. I got a different IWB and so I thought maybe I would get an OWB for the range. I spoke to their CS and they advised me they would do an exchange instead of refund. Keep in mind the package had still not arrived.
After 24hrs came to my senses. It would probably take another 2 months to get that other holster like the first one. So I message their CS again to fully cancel and refund the order. On 7/2/2020 they confirm my order is still being returned, but the refund will be processed and order cancelled as soon as it arrives.
Fast forward to 7/13/2020. I get a package from none other than WTP, with you guessed it the OWB holster I have confirmed cancelled 2 week prior. I check my bank, still no refund. I contact WTP customer service AGAIN. They tell me that I have to sent the product back again to get my refund and that I would have to pay for shipping since it was open. The packing slip showed the order I put date of 7/7/2020 and ship date of 7/10/2020 a full week after my confirmed cancel.
They still expect me to pay for shipping, my ticket is pending manager approval for a free return label to fix THEIR mistake. Been waiting for that approval for 3 days now.
TL:DR: - We The People has terrible shipping time - Terrible CS - Buy your holsters elsewhere.
