Hey everyone! Smokey McBongwater here, looking to bust into the fresh market of R6 ESL teams. Since this is a team being started from scratch, I want to lay down a few requirements before getting into how the team(s) will be formed.
- All members are required to attend one day of practice per week
This will just be to start. There will be multiple days of practice at random times (practically everyday that I'm online), and to have it count as practice, you must dedicate at least three hours (7-12 matches) to game time. The rules of practice will change based on availability of the eventually chosen roster.
- Must have a mic, and communicates often.
This is mandatory. No exceptions.
- Must be 18
Not only is this to avoid any legal reasons, but I cuss like a sailor. However, that being said...
- Must Be Able to Work Past Personal Problems
If friction between teammates arises, you must be able to work past your frustration and aim to win the game. Settle it in private.
- Must Have Playable Framerates
Again, mandatory. No exceptions.
Now that we have a grasp of the rules. Let's understand the roles that are being created and tried out for. There will be two teams, which will be called Alpha and Bravo for now. I lead Alpha, and I'll be needing a captain for Bravo.
For now, R6 NA for ESL isn't active yet, so in practice scrims and casual leagues, Alpha and Bravo will be considered equals under the same clan name. They will get the same amount of scrims each and can provide replacements if needed. However, in larger tournaments, Bravo and Alpha will become their own separate entities, both competing for the prize.
Tryouts will be on an individual basis at first, with the first team practice culminating in mid to late January.
