I haven’t played the new season yet. What should I look out for?

It’s the end of my last semester and it’s finals/projects galore, so my plate’s full right now. But on December 23 at midnight, you best believe I’m diving in head first into the new season. Last time I played was about a month ago so I assume I’ll be pretty rusty. I play on PS4.
How has Aruni affected the meta? How much getting used to will the new Skyscraper map require? What should I look out for in general?
