It's been a solid few months now since the sight changes so I'm genuinely curious to know the communities takes on iron sights.

Personally from my experience irons actually can make a huge difference if you actually take the time to practice with them. I've been actively using them on the majority of my ops I regularly play for atleast 2 months now and have seen both a spike in my confidence taking gun fights and my kd as a result. Could just be after 6 years of playing the game I've Finally got gud but I personally don't think that is it of course.

Atm I'm regularly using irons on Ace, Fuze, Nomad and Diemos on attack specifically because I found the Aks sights to be the most clear for mid range fights, I also took to using them on Bucks CW and Ashs and Rams r4c as well as Ram and Zofias LmgE and lastly Lions V308. As to defense im regularly using, cavs smg, lesion and oryxs T5, melusis mp5 (really all the mp5 veriants as well), elas Scorpion evo, Vigils K1A, Maestros Alda, Thorns Uzi50, Mpx on Tubaro and Valk and finally Jagers 416c. There is a ton of others but these are all the ops I'm regularly playing plus im using the on every shotgun in game except the slug shotties which i am using acog on.

Take note too I'm not regularly using common guns people use irons on like Zeros C3000, the Mp7, Arx on Nomad and Iana (though I will use those if I play Iana) and the Acs12 all of which have the same post sights everyone else finds super clean. Personally I don't really like them myself.

What im finding with all of these guns is 3 things helped a lot when using them that may have been the reasons my confidence and gun play skill went up using them. 1) a lot of these sights actually take a lot of time and practice to get used to using which actually was part of why I started it as it added a fun challenge to the game. 2) when I started using them I had to become more focused on my angles and pre fires due to how hard they can be to hold angles with leading into me regularly trying to take more gun fights proactively compared to how I used to play. 3) the Ads boost I get from them despite only being 5% more than using a 1x actually let's me aim quicker than any opponents who aren't aiming already, and with laser on some guns like the Mpx it let's me aim almost instantly.

So what are your experiences using irons or going against them since the changes? Have you found it to be a reasonable buff and incentive to use them or do you think they should do more to buff them?
