Post Body

Hey guys. So I a very old player back during the start of Year 2 (Blood Orchid). After about a 1000 hrs, i left the game at around Operation Wind Bastion, just to get a feel for a different game (ended up as a Destiny 2 slave). I wont lie, I really do miss the competitive feel and the strategic thinking this game involves. Games like Destiny 2 felt too dependent on high-speed movement which i feel is not really for me, and if you know anything about the game, its pvp is not really suitable for competitive play. This includes broken abilities, spamming abilities with little gunplay, "hold W" warriors get rewarded for dumb plays, unexplainable deaths because of janky physics and so on.

So I wanted to play some sort of competitive-feel game, and so I plan on returning to siege. At least somewhat xD. So i had a few questions, which i think would be more suitable for the veterans of the game due to the nature of these questions. But if you know any information, just drop them down, I will read them anyway:

i) From Wind Bastion to now, what are the major changes I must be aware of if i want to get into the game? A big one ik, sorry :(

ii) How good/bad is the meta at the moment? How consistently good/bad has the meta been for the past few seasons?

iii) Would you suggest me to return to Siege? Or would you advise me to forget about the game completely and move on? If so, what games would you suggest for me if i want to get that competitive feel?

iv) If i do join the game, which operators are quintessential for me to unlock?
