Hey everyone, My Siberian cat loves to go outside and play in the sand. I don't mind, he cleans himself when he comes in, so no problem there. But every once in a while, he falls in to the fish pond or something, and he cleans himself after that too. A couple of weeks back, he came in covered in some sort of goo, which i suspect came from a tree in our backyard. But it was discusting and hard to get out of his fur, so I gave him a bath.

Thats not the problem, he likes water and he kind of likes a bath, but when I wanted to get him dry, he wouldt let me get near him with the blow dryer. Cold, hot, he just doesnt like the sound. i tried getting him dry with the towels (took like 4 towels to get him remotely dry) and he wante dto dry himself. He doesnt seem to mind (its not like he has weekly baths) but it tires him out, so I thought maybe some of you have tips.

TL;DR My cat is afraid of the blowdryer, so how do I get him dry?
