how often should you wait between trips?

Wondering bc it’s been over 3 weeks since I tried chocolates for the first time. They did something but I didn’t feel like I was necessarily tripping. I tried twice as much a few days later & it barely felt like it did anything so i figured I should wait. Has it been long enough u think?
