What do people know about Joanne Latham? She was a Page 3 girl who suddenly exploded onto the scene in the late 70s before signing for Penthouse for £70,000, which was a huge sum in those days.

She was on the cusp of US stardom, but things went badly wrong when an ill-judged crash diet made her boobs shrink dramatically from an incredible 34E to a mere 34B.

At 21, Joanne was on the scrapheap. Work dried up and her career imploded just as Page 3 in the UK entered its 80s “big boob” era with Sam Fox, Debee Ashby, Tracey Neve and Lu Varley.

I’ve read an article on her from the mid 80s. She was broke and lamented that she had been “surrounded by people who cashed in on my assets but didn’t think of me as a person”.

She sounds like a classic case of disastrous shrinkage. Without her E cups she became just a normal girl.
