Women think whether a woman is hot is determined by the abscense of imperfection

Which is just not how men look at women. Like when it comes to choosing a mate you'd only seek perfection out of insecurity. If you really think she is hot it's more out of appreciation of her strong qualities.
This is not some moral stance. I think this is why women seemingly have no taste when it comes to other women. I also think it drives the beauty industry, which is not about beauty but about neuroticism.
