Can't really blame Zeus for not knowing how to be a good father when his own tried to eat him.

Edit: I'm noticing that a lot of people are conflating not knowing how to be a good father with being an abusive father.
Just because a parent doesn't know what they're doing doesn't mean they are gonna be abusive.
