Watching the Wizard of Oz with my daughter and we were talking about how old it was and movie history. The first song with the scare crow came up, and mentioned Lincoln. I checked the dates and realized that someone watching that movie in 1939 could have witnessed speeches from Lincoln too.

I know that’s how time works and it’s not a radical concept, it just struck me how we perceive time.
