Shovel Knight has the Bard, Plague Knight has Oolong. Why no NPC plays music in Specter's hub?

I know Specter doesn't collect music sheets like the others, but a music player could've showed up after you beat the game or something like that. Ideas:

• After you rescue Scarlet, she could summon a skeleton bard once you talk to her;
  
• After you're "edgy enough" to the 'Edge Farmer, he could play music on a harmonica (the edgiest instrument of couse);
  
• After you gather all the customers in Creech's bar, he could set up a jukebox.
  

I feel like any of these would be somewhat in character -- and any of those would've been kind of a reward to something else you do.
This is a very minor complaint and it doesn't really make the game any lesser to me -- the menu Sound Test player is already a great addition! But I also enjoyed messing around with Plague and Shovel's abilities while listening to custom music in their hubs and it would've been great to do it with Specter and his awesome soundtrack as well. Any thoughts?
