SIB Eastward or The Wild at Heart?

Post Body
Both look like solid indie games with great visuals. First I was leaning towards Eastward but I've seen reviews saying the story tends to drag on and the gameplay itself wasn't that fun. Is that true?
From what I've seen, I feel like The Wild at Heart is more centered around puzzles and exploration while Eastward is more about the story and battles. But which one is more fun? Do either of those have any replayability? If you could get only one, which one would you choose and why?
