I’m currently a big fan of FFXIV and others like ESO, GW2, SWTOR, etc. I also dabble in other types of genre gaming but for the most part I’ve been hooked on MMOs lately.
Does this game bring a lot of worth and value for $40? I see it on Steam and I’m just curious about the reviews itself.
Here’s some questions I have as well if anyone can answer:
1) is the game still likely to cripple my PC and completely destroy my CPU? I have an entry level desktop that can run most games usually fine enough, but I am worried the game would render my computer like useless? Is that still an issue that people are dealing with?
2) how is the co-op and team based experience in New World? Is there a lot of exploration and things to do with friends and randoms? Is there matchmaking at any point? Also, I HATE PvP usually when it comes to MMOs and stuff, so I don’t want to be forced to deal with that all the time and I prefer PvE generally.
3) how are the classes/weapons? I assume there’s no classs per se but weaponry? I enjoy using bows and guns/pistols in MMOs I play. Sometimes rapiers as well.
4) is there an in game cosmetic shop? Can I buy outfits and stuff? I’m someone who enjoys like cosmetic appeal in MMOs and standing out a bit.
