I want to play an ARPG-like or related game, with killing and loot. These two interest me the most right now, but I'm free to listen for other recommendations. Basically, what I am looking for is:
a not-uncomfortable loot system, so the player isn't swarmed with tons of new items with similar levels/rarities to the present ones and either forced to check for all or just ignore
good solo gameplay, a lot of ARPGs are made for co-op and solo is just not great. I know that both GfR and Chronicon are co-op focused
reflex based gameplay is a big plus. Dodging, accuracy, et cetera. Just clicking on things can get boring, and sometimes not accurate (I had this issue with Grim Dawn on a free weekend where I played a ranged character and misclicked, so my character moved instead of attacking)
Good story is not required. To be honest, no story is required, as long as the gameplay is sufficiently fun
I have 7$ in my Steam wallet right now, so I don't want to go much over the funds.
In case someone suggests it, I've played and loved Hades
