SiB returnal or Mass effect Legendary edition?

Returnal is a Rougelike game, some of my favourite are rougelike (hades, FTL, into the breach) , from what ive seen looks like a game I will really like
Mass effect is one of my favorite series of the previous generation, though having a ps3 at the time started with ME2 and when i tried the first after playing 2 and 3, game play was so different it turned me off, from what ive read they did a bit of a overhaul on the first to make it more accessible
So which should i buy?
