WSIB Space flight sim looter shooters?

I just saw some gameplay and trailers of Ever space 2 and it looks very fun. I usually do not play or have not played any type of space sim or anything related to space fight. But the looter shooter aspect of it turned that genre very interesting to me. But I do not know if I want to buy a game that is in early access in case it ends up lacking content or whatever.
Can you guys recommend me any games similar to this that has a lot of content to play, good progression system, flight/space simulator, that is also some sort of looter shooter mechanics? Thank you!
