I'm really into games with a lot of mystery to them, that dripfeed you their lore and story rather than tell it to your straight with exposition or cutscenes (I do like those kinds of games too, but not what I'm looking for atm). The kinds of games where people make youtube channels dedicated to explaining the intricacies of the world and what the plot is actually about; the ones where you go through it the first time and just sit there like "so what the hell just happened?" The kinds of games that leave you wanting more, with a feeling that there's always something more, one more secret to find, another note to read that changes your entire interpretation of the story.
Let's just rule Dark Souls out now. I know it fits what I'm describing but it's just never been for me (despite Bloodborne being one of my favorite games of all time; I know it's a weird paradox). ASIDE FROM THAT, WSIB?
Also I know the flair says PS4 but PC works also.
Edit: also I have played Hollow Knight and loved it.
