I've had the game for a long time on my Steam wishlist but kept getting mixed reviews about it every month or two. For $30, is it worth the 50% off price tag?
A bit of context: I kinda enjoy games where I can play multiplayer or co-op most, as opposed to solo or individual gameplay. I love outer space and exploration and customization, but I don't know if I'd like a game where there isn't matchmaking or at least multiplayer features enabled. I want to be able to play the game with other friends or randoms if possible. Does this exist in NMS at all? I wanted to be sure before I picked up the game that it is worth the time and experience. Is it grindy in any way? I want to play something that will allow me to come back at any point and still enjoy it casually and/or with friends.
