I miss my days of being 7-13 and being able to enjoy single player games. I don't know what games I enjoy anymore.

When I was little I loved my PS2. Midnight Club, Spiderman 2, Spiderman Friend or Foe, Hitman, and some others. When I hit my preteens/early teenage years I mostly played CoD with my friends, but now I don't have that same friend group to play with and those games don't have their same magic.

Lately I tried getting into the new Hitman games, and they're cool but I find myself getting bored after 1 mission. I've been able to spend a ton of time in Monster Hunter World, but for whatever reason I haven't played in a couple months. I'm considering buying Spider-Man PS4 but I don't want to have the same disappointment I had with Hitman (that's to say, disappointment that I don't enjoy the game, not that the game isn't good).

I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for. I just want to enjoy games again. Suggestions?
