I am actually waiting for the winter sale before I get them.
I plan to buy Madden 15 and Diablo 3 soon(somehow PoE doesn't appeal to me) and that takes some money out of my steam winter sale budget. I'm guessing DOS get's a small cut in price (10 to 25 off) while Shadow of Mordor won't
I've heard that Shadow of Mordor is very similar to Assassin's Creed and Arkham games. THing is, I have never played the Arkham games. I played AC 1 and 2 and their open world thing was okay. I was expecting something like Elder Scrolls free roam in Shadow of Mordor but apparently it's not the case. Also the game seems short. I want to buy it over DOS but I checked some reports. Some said they finished the game in 20-30 hours. DOS on the other hand had 48 hours.
I've never also experienced something similar to DOS. The turn based looks fun. I love JRPGs so the seemingly slow combat didn't bother me. Also I have heard that the world really feels alive and dynamic, which makes me want to get it.
Which one would you suggest? Also a cons/pros of each game would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: If I am searching for adventure, story and atmosphere which game would you suggest?
