The kind of boredom I'm talking about is the kind where you know what you want to do right now is boot up a game, but nothing really catches your interest, and saves you going to bed like you wasted all your time.

Genre isn't really an issue, it can be anything from some sort of sim game, to a colony builder. The only thing I'm really looking for in it is replayability, as usually story heavy games don't satiate the boredom I'm feeling.

I'd also ideally like something that can be played with both KBM and Controller with a relatively smooth transition, so not looking for any MMO's really.

One game I have a feeling will be mentioned and is on my list is Elden Ring.
