I went and got the cheapest laptop that walmart had on hand to play classic WoW and it went okay.
Lowest settings, resolution set to 1024x768, and I get a stableish 30fps while out questing, but anywhere from 15-25ish if I'm in a particularly crowded city. Garbage, but it works lol
I'm thinking that means it's time to catch up on some old ass/indie games. I really like RPGs (including cRPG), roguelikes, and horror, but I'm open to anything that will run.
Super lightweight/old games that I've enjoyed:
Fallout series
The Elder Scrolls series
The Sims 1 & 2
Streets of Rogue
Enter the Gungeon
Game Dev Tycoon
Vampire Survivors
Total War: Medieval 2
Neverwinter Nights
KOTOR 1 & 2
Empire At War
Battlefront 1 & 2
Republic Commando
Jedi Knight series
Resident Evil series
Faster Than Light
Games I'm interested in but haven't gotten yet:
Baldurs gate
Icewind Dale
Planescape: Torment
Pathfinder series
