Game(s) I am considering: Unsure. Looking for suggestions.
The game(s) interest me because:
I like the automation aspect because it's fun setting up things and trying to get it to run perfectly. I've always been into games with resource gathering and crafting.
My concerns about purchasing the game(s):
Mostly that I'll get something and then not want to play it or finish it.
Games I've liked and why:
I'm hoping to find something like these because of how much fun I had.
Autonauts, I want another game like this desperately. Mechanics were fun and it wasn't too difficult to learn but I could spend a lot of time getting it right.
Satisfactory, very fun to play but I'm waiting for 1.0 to pick it up again.
Graveyard keeper, in the top 5 for me personally , love the story and the mechanics.
Forager, fun and enjoyable, just not much replayability I tried to pick it up again but it wasn't as fun.
Raft, has no automation but I did think the gathering and building was fun.
Cryofall, no automation here either but the gathering and crafting was fun.
Rimworld, love this game, gathering and crafting is amazing and it can be semi automated.
Games I've disliked and why:
Factory town, uninteresting.
Factorio, not that fun, played the demo and I couldn't get into it.
Big pharma, I wanted to like it but the business side of the game is so meh.
Autonauts vs pirate bots, I hate the fighting. Takes too long and is clunky.
Banished, I wanted to like this one, it's slow and unrewarding.
Outpath, not very fun.
I'm sure there are some I'm missing. I'd be happy to hear any suggestions. There are some other games that just didn't scratch the itch or I've already played here:
