Generally I like action combat but I’m open minded in terms of combat this time around. Basically I’m looking for a rich world with compelling quests, and a satisfying progression system.
Games I Love: - Witcher 3 - Dragon Age: Origins - Skyrim - Horizon Forbidden West/Zero Dawn - God of War - FF16 - Yakuza Series - Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Mass Effect Series - Diablo 2,3 and 4
Games I’ve Played and Liked: - Fallout 3, NV, and 4 - Kingdoms of Amalur - Elden Ring - Dragon Age Inquisition - Outer Worlds - Chained Echos
Games I Couldn’t Get Into: - Elex 1 - Steelrising - Greedfall
Not all these are RPGs per say but I do like an action game with RPG lite features with a rich world/lore.
I don’t love the Dark Souls or Souls like because story happens in the background and that kind of breaks my immersion a bit. (I know I’m dumb lol) Elden Ring was the exception though.
I have Xbox, PS, and Switch so I’m open minded on that account. I’d like the visuals to be semi appealing as that helps my immersion but I don’t mind retro style. Thanks!
